The Journal of Art Crime (JAC) is published by ARCA, the Association for Research into Crime Against Art. ARCA is a research and outreach organisation based in Amelia, Italy, which works to promote the study and research of art crime and cultural heritage protection.
The JAC has been published since Spring 2009. Published twice per year on a not-for-profit basis and edited by Noah Charney, Marc Balcells and Christos Tsirogiannis, the JAC contains a mixture of peer-reviewed academic articles and editorials, from contributors both within ARCA and external professionals knowledgeable in this sector.
